Das Bollwerk steht! 30t Sandsteinmauer selbst gebaut, mit Steinen, Schweiß & Papa Franz
Welcome to another mill adventure! It's finally here: the final act on the riverbank wall! After six intense weeks, we completed the last section today. It was a real slog – we moved at least 30 tons of stone and mortar. Dad Franz joined us today and provided invaluable support. Together, we battled our way through the "mosquito invasion" (honestly, it was like the Amazon!) and finished the fortification stone by stone. Even though everything aches today, and I'm completely fed up after a few hammer blows to my fingers – the result is something to be proud of! Now that the wall is up, the way is clear for the next projects: the wrought-iron fence is waiting, and the courtyard can finally be properly landscaped. Dad Franz was with us today and gave us a real boost.
