Welcome to Malawi , we just crossed the Land boarder from Tanzania , Kasumulu town To Malawi , Now we in a town called Karonga Malawi , 47 km from the Border of Tanzania and Malawi. Mzuzu is a city in northern Malawi. It’s a gateway to Lake Malawi and the fishing village of Nkhata Bay, both to the east. To the south, forested Viphya Plateau has abundant birdlife and many trails. To the north, Nyika National Park is home to leopards, lions and elephants. Nearby, floodplains and woodlands characterize Vwaza Marsh Wildlife Reserve, which shelters buffalo and kudu, plus hippos in Lake Kazuni. Malawi, a landlocked country in southeastern Africa, is defined by its topography of highlands split by the Great Rift Valley and enormous Lake Malawi. The lake’s southern end falls within Lake Malawi National Park – sheltering diverse wildlife from colorful fish to baboons – and its clear waters are popular for diving and boating. Peninsular Cape Maclear is known for its beach resorts.
