Arménie, les Résistants du Caucase | Les routes de l'impossible
At the crossroads of Asia and Europe, Armenia resembles an inaccessible fortress. 90% of the territory rises above 1000 meters and entire villages were wiped out following a terrible earthquake in 1988. Arman and his father, the last survivors of their village, regularly face the snowy slopes to deliver potatoes to the villagers. The country's economy is still under reconstruction since the collapse of the USSR in 1991. Aris, an engineer by training, improvises as a lumberjack to earn a salary while in the village of Tsar, Armin and Arman must bring the women of the village stock up on groceries in the nearest village located forty kilometers away. directed by: Julien Boluen, Jean-Christophe Brisard
