In the video I will show you step by step: how to bake the perfect sponge cake with nuts, how to make a cream of mascarpone and caramel condensed milk. how to assemble the cake simply but effectively! 🔔 Subscribe, like and click on the bell - more proven recipes to come! 🔪PREPARATION: 🎂 Cake Preparation Instructions ✅ To make the sponge cake: Ingredients: 5 egg whites 150 g sugar (¾ cup) 5 egg yolks 30 g vegetable oil (2 tbsp) 150 g all-purpose flour (1¼ cups) 1.5 teaspoons baking powder 120 g walnuts, pre-roasted and chopped (1 cup) Instructions: Beat the egg whites until foamy. Gradually add the sugar in small portions, continue beating until stiff peaks form. Add the egg yolks one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Gently mix in the vegetable oil. Sift together the flour and baking powder. Sift half of the dry ingredients into the batter and gently fold from bottom to top. Sift the remaining dry ingredients and gently fold again. Add the roasted, chopped walnuts and mix gently. Pour the batter into a 22 cm (9 inch) baking dish lined with parchment paper. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (350°F) for 30-35 minutes. Check doneness with a wooden stick – it should come out dry. Let the sponge cool for 10-15 minutes. Remove the springform pan and allow the sponge to cool completely to room temperature. Cut off the top layer to level the cake. Slice the sponge into 3 equal layers. ✅ For the cream: Ingredients: 350 g mascarpone cheese (12.3 oz). 300-350 g caramel condensed milk (10.5 - 12.3 oz). Instructions: Mix mascarpone with caramel condensed milk until smooth. Do not overbeat — mix just enough to combine, using a spatula if desired. ✅ For soaking: Ingredients: 150 ml milk (⅔ cup). 1 tablespoon caramel condensed milk. Instructions: Mix milk with caramel condensed milk. Soak each sponge layer with this mixture before assembling the cake. ❄️ Cooling: Refrigerate the assembled cake for at least 2-3 hours before serving. ✅ Decoration: 100 g roasted, chopped walnuts (¾ cup) — for sprinkling on top.
