The Standing Committee of the General Council of the Judiciary (CGPJ), meeting in extraordinary session this Monday, approved sending Judge Peinado's ruling on Begoña Gómez to the Disciplinary Action Promoter of the body so that he may assess whether the statements contained therein, suggesting that the State Security Forces and Corps could collaborate in a hypothetical escape by the Prime Minister's wife, could constitute a "serious breach of consideration" as stipulated in Article 418.5 of the Organic Law of the Judiciary.
