Stunning views from Grindslow. Wild Camp on Kinder Scout with no stove.

This week was always going to be a hard one to complete a hike and then do a wild camp. The weather forecast was predicting temperatures in the high twenties, and low wind with little chance of rain. I have wanted to climb up to Derwent Edge and hike along to Lost Lad for quite a while but the temperature when I was on the train was just too high so I decided to go onto Kinder instead, eventually bivvying on the summit of Grinslow Knoll. This was a zero ignition camp, in order to comply with the no flame PSPO (ignoring the fact that I was wild camping anyway!) The morning gave me a very special treat as I was able to watch the mist gradually leak of the Kinder Plateau and fill Grindsbrook until it overflowed.
