Mergulhando com milhares de peixes no Rio Tocantins

Have you ever wondered what the underwater habitats are like at the foot of a waterfall? In this video I show you some of the habitats and fish species we recorded while diving in the rapids of the Tocantins River, near the town of Itaguatins. We saw several species that are considered rare and endangered, such as the snake pike cichlid (Crenicichla jegui), Baryancistrus longipinnis, among others.
