Les trésors du mobilier national : dans les secrets du patrimoine français

The Mobilier National is responsible for the maintenance and preservation of the most precious treasures of our history. This institution is tasked with furnishing the most prestigious sites of our heritage – from the Loire Valley châteaux to the palaces of the Republic and government ministries – and reviving the splendor of royal receptions and grand balls of the Empire. This venerable institution trains upholsterers, gilders, cabinetmakers, and also lacemakers who use techniques passed down for centuries and which are now listed as UNESCO World Heritage.
