What started as a technical project quickly became something much bigger. Together with my grandfather, I drove more than 16,000 kilometers through mountains, villages, industrial sites, border regions, and places most people never see. Along the way we encountered gold mines, abandoned tunnels, wild boars, mountain storms, incredible hospitality, and countless people who helped us when plans fell apart. This documentary is not really about cell towers. It's about Bulgaria. It's about starting before you're ready.
