I Created a Hidden Archive Journal | Steampunk Flip-Through

Today I’m sharing an update and flip-through of my Curiosity Bureau Archive journal, a steampunk-inspired project created with @Bee Happy Stationery's Rust & Revolutions, and Retrovolution kits. This project is loosely inspired by my dad’s work with weather balloons and the idea of an old found briefcase filled with an engineer’s log, field dossier, travel wallet, archive papers, maps, notes, and collected evidence. In this video, I’m walking through the mostly decorated journal, including pockets, belly bands, stacked tucks, dyed papers, vintage ledger, handmade masterboard tags, cheesecloth details, and plenty of journaling space. This is one of my Junk Journal July 2026 projects, but today’s video is more of a project update than a specific prompt response.
