Datsun 280z - Disassembling the Brakes

I seem to find myself in this position more often than not when getting a new project car, but I need to make some basic repairs on the Datsun 280z in order to make it drivable. The brakes on this car are the worst I have ever seen. This is the first video in my process to remove the brakes, both front disk and rear drums, to restore them back to like new. Eventually the plan is to move to a better brake setup, but for now, the goal is to get the Datsun back on the streets as economically as possible. If you have watched any of my past videos, you know I am a big fan of using Metal Rescue to remove rust from parts. It does take time to work, but it has never disappointed. In the next video, you will get to see how well it works on these 44 year old parts. If you found this video helpful smash that like button!
