Getting Started on the Datsun 280z (fuel pump, filter, and lines)
The Datsun 280z has been sitting in my driveway untouched for nearly 2 years after the fuel pump decided to start leaking gas everywhere days after I brought it home. I have been working on the RX7 so the poor Datsun sat neglected. In this video, I finally get the 280z into the garage and replace the fuel pump and inspect the whole fuel system. I decided it would be best to go ahead and replace the rubber fuel injection lines as well as the factory fuel filter. For added assurance, an in-line pre-filter is added before the new fuel pump to help collect anything that might come from the old gas tank. If you found this video helpful smash that like button!
