Can an old cassette deck really improve a modern song? In this video, I experiment with using a vintage 1981 TEAC cassette deck as part of my music production workflow, sending drums, synths, and guitars through cassette to add texture, character, and analog warmth. Along the way, I compare the original recordings with the cassette versions to find out whether this old piece of gear can compete with modern plugins.
