Did The Buffs Save Hurricane? || Mecha BREAK Gameplay and Guide

Be careful who you call bad on release. The first balance patch of Mecha BREAK has released and the biggest winner is Hurricane. It got more damage on its main gun, more utility with its shield bubble, but the biggest change is with the decoy drone. Instead of just being easily cut down by melee strikers, now the decoy drones explode and stun anyone who hits them with a melee attack. This gives Hurricane a lot more time to reposition and escape against persistent attackers. Were these changes enough to bring Hurricane into the spotlight though? While its matchup against melees is definitely improved it still struggles with fighting multiple at once. And even with the increased damage on its gun it's still lacking in burst damage compared to many other strikers. Not to mention the problematic matchups energy weapons face against the likes of Welkin and Skyraider. Personally I've been having a blast with the new Hurricane, but let's see if the buffs were enough to save them for everyone.
