Is Alysnes Underrated? || Mecha BREAK Gameplay and Guide

We're back with the OG striker today, Alysnes. Despite being the tutorial mech Alysnes has always been a favorite of mine, but I've had a hard time finding a good opportunity to play them. They don't really a clear cut role like the other melee mechs. Panther and Stellaris are different flavors of assassin and Welkin is a strong objective player on top of being able to isolate enemies. Alysnes though... is good at surviving? And hey sometimes surviving can be really important like in the TDM maps, but it only really matters if the enemy team can't afford to ignore you either. So what can Alysnes do to justify its spot on the team? How about we win every single duel we find ourselves in? Alysnes combat is extremely flexible. Having access to both a melee weapon and an energy weapon gives you a good option for taking on basically every enemy. Got a pesky Luminae running around? Lock him down with your Gauss cannons and some melee. Got an unkillable Tricera sitting on the objective? Hover in his blind spot and chunk his shield and armor with charged energy volleys. Eventually your enemies might have enough and start chasing you down, but with well timed shield usage even forcing one armor purge can be tough. And of course even after that Alysnes can keep fighting like an unkillable cockroach. With all these tools maybe we can show this underrated striker is actually a master duelist.
