Together with my father and the dog, I go for a walk along the beach and we talk about the possibilities of buying a holiday home (which turned out to be disappointing). Then the conversation turned to my parents' story. They were very young when they moved in together, and more or less by chance, they eventually became owners of a student house in Rotterdam on Rochussenstraat. Jules Deelder even played a role in that, and in between, they had a housing fiasco in Driebergen. In this video, the whole story, including many old images, some of which are from my childhood.
