🔥 Wreckfest 2 Update 8: Kaputtes Blech & Brutale V8 Action!

Wreckfest 2 Update 8 is here – and we're dissecting the content update in our review! Included are two new vehicles: the Bullet and the Jackal, new Waypoint Modes, player progression with levels and badges, and tons of bug fixes and quality-of-life improvements. The Bullet is a genuine 60s American muscle car, the Jackal an 80s Mustang knock-off – we send both of them, with their big V8 engines and rear-wheel drive, out on the new routes in Scrapyard and Savolax Sandpit in Waypoint Freeroam. Plus, we finally get our first spin in the steel-bodied E-Class Touring derivative, racing against 23 opponents on expert settings. And because all that would be too sensible, we end up throwing a school bus into a "Suicide Race" on the oval – against every type of opponent the game has to offer. On top of all that, the update includes a minimap, easy tuning, and loads of new decals for the CRAP-IT tool. Plus, we finally get our first outing with the steel-bodied E-Class Touring derivative, racing against 23 opponents on expert settings. Wreckfest 2 comes from Bugbear Entertainment, the Finnish studio from Helsinki that set the standard for destruction racing games with FlatOut and the first Wreckfest in 2000. It's published by THQ Nordic. The game runs on Bugbear's completely revamped ROMU engine with improved damage physics and has been in Steam Early Access since March 2025.
