MOLE gets much darker in Part 2. After finally getting new coordinates and continuing the descent, things take a disturbing turn when fragments of the protagonist’s past begin surfacing. This episode reveals the true reason my protagonist is on the vessel — and why reaching the Signal matters so much to him personally. Of course, the descent won’t be as easy as I hoped, and fixing the broken engine in the creepiest engine room of my life quickly spirals into a terrifying chase sequence through surreal environments… eventually ending up in a hospital. Where some excruciating decisions must be made. The deeper we go, the harder it becomes to tell where reality ends and something else begins. This is Part 2 of my first playthrough of MOLE.
