Which Radiator Cools Better? Head-to-Head Test Results

Does a dual pass radiator actually cool better than a cross flow radiator? We put these cooling setups to the test on my 69 Pontiac GTO. In this episode of Fast Monty's Garage, we settle the debate between dual pass radiator designs and standard cross flow radiator units. If you are working on a performance build or trying to keep a modified engine at the right temperature, this head-to-head test provides the cooling data you need. We take the radiator already installed in the GTO and compare it directly against the dual pass upgrade to see which one performs better under load. This video is for anyone tired of guessing which cooling system is right for their project. By testing these different radiator configurations on my bored and stroked engine, you will see real-world results rather than relying on hearsay. We break down the performance differences so you can make an informed choice for your own vehicle cooling system. Subscribe for weekly garage project updates, and tell me in the comments: which cooling myth should we test next? The two radiators we test are the Cold Case Cross Flow (GMA42) versus a Cold Case Dual Pass LS Conversion radiator (GMA546) We're going to tackle as many myths as possible.
