Love Your Neighbor As Yourself
Christ’s second great commandment, to love your neighbor as yourself, has been distorted by those who don’t easily love themselves to mean “I need to love myself more.” However, the scriptural context is that since we all indeed do love ourselves in some ways, and we need to extend that love to others and not demonstrate cold love.
