ANELLO LOVERO, Passo Guspessa, Trivigno, Costamoscia, Lovero GRAVEL - Valtellina in Bici

We begin our tour in Lovero, near the church of Santa Maria, and begin climbing on asphalt through apple orchards. After less than a kilometer, we turn left onto the small road leading to the villages of "Piscee" and "Grom." We continue climbing through the cool woods, occasionally affording us views of the Valtellina and Valgrosina valleys, and the imposing Monte Massuccio towering above. After passing "Pisce" and reaching the turnoff for "Grom," we continue climbing toward "Stael." Soon, the asphalt gives way to a dirt road that leads us to the road from Sernio to the Guspessa Pass. We climb the steep slopes of this section until we reach the junction with the road leading from Trivigno to the Mortirolo Pass. We turn right and continue downhill on asphalt to Trivigno. Near a valley that hosts a beautiful cross-country ski trail in the winter, we turn left, returning to a dirt road. We descend, circling Monte Giovello until we reach the asphalt road again. We climb back up towards the little church of Trivigno and turn left. We then follow Costamoscia until we reach the asphalt road that leads from Tirano to Trivigno. We complete our loop by passing through the ancient villages of Cologna and Sernio. A perfect ride for gravel bikes! GPX track: https://www.komoot.com/it-it/tour/124...
