Only after this comes human intervention: cutting the umbilical cord three fingers' width from the belly, disinfection with an iodine solution, and deworming the mother immediately after birth, which passes protection against worms to the offspring through her milk. From the tenth day onwards, the excess milk can be used. As the breed is specialized in milk production, it exceeds what the offspring consumes, and the residual milk needs to be collected to prevent mammary infection.
