About the Chuo Gakuin University Ekiden Club Current coach Yuji Kawasaki founded the Chuo Gakuin University Ekiden Club from scratch. Their training base is in Abiko City, Chiba Prefecture. The team is known for its flawless, error-free, and tenacious ekiden relay race. While the team runs fewer distances during practice than other schools, they emphasize mastering proper form and building basic physical strength through strengthening exercises, improving the athletes' abilities through various efforts. They practice hard every day in order to achieve the team's goal in the university ekiden relay race.
