The Chuo Gakuin University Ekiden (long-distance relay race) team works hard every day aiming for the Hakone Ekiden. Next time, we plan to release footage from a time trial! ○About the Chuo Gakuin University Ekiden Team Current coach Yuji Kawasaki founded the Chuo Gakuin University Ekiden Team from scratch. Their training base is Abiko City, Chiba Prefecture. The team is characterized by its flawless, tenacious, and all-out team effort. Although our training distance is shorter than other schools, we emphasize mastering proper form and building fundamental physical strength through supplementary exercises. Through these efforts, we strive to improve our athletes' abilities and work diligently every day to achieve our team goals in the university ekiden (long-distance relay race).
