Episode 27 - Leica Summitar 10 Blade (Version 1) vs 6 Blade (Version 2) In this episode we compare the 2 main versions of the Leitz Summitar 5cm f2 for Leica Thread Mount. The first version is the 10 blade Coated version from early 1950, the second is the 6 blade coated version from 1951. Which has the best out of focus areas and resistance to flare? The images in this video were shot on Ilford Delta 100 Professional and developed in the kitchen sink using Ilford Ilfotec DD-X, Ilford Rapid Fixer and Ilford Ilfotol. The negatives were then scanned using a Kodak Pakon F135+ Negative Scanner.
