Painting One Face SIX Different Ways / Studio Session 224

In this video, I’m working in my art journal creating six different faces...then going back and painting each one separately to practice mixed media techniques one at a time. This is one of my favorite ways to loosen up, experiment, and build confidence without the pressure of making a “finished” piece. Each face becomes its own little study in layering, mark making, texture, and color. If you’ve ever felt stuck or unsure what to practice next, this is a simple and powerful exercise you can try in your own sketchbook or journal.
