Reverse Grid Art: Make the Art First, Then the Grid

Usually, we use a grid to make art. This time we're doing it the other way around. We make the art first, and then the grid. No planning, no chosen palette, no pressure to make something "good." Just playing with leftover paint, muted colors, and one bright surprise. Only afterwards do we go looking for the parts we love and turn them into a grid. It's low-key, it's forgiving, and it's a lovely warm-up even if making art still feels a little daunting. 📖 Want to follow along step by step at your own pace?
