The Banten Provincial State Museum is a public museum that originally housed the Banten Cultural Office in the Banten Provincial Government Center in 2013. The museum's location was then moved downtown to the old Governor's Hall in Serang City. This relocation was made for policy reasons, as the city center's location provides easy access for museum visitors, and the building's historical significance as a Cultural Heritage Site.
