Hello, I’m Gardenia 🌸 Welcome to my kitchen on a sunny spring morning. Today, I’m preparing 5 different recipes that I’ll be serving to my guests for the upcoming special days. From Şam Tatlısı to a refreshing lemon sorbet, I wanted to share with you the quiet sense of peace I feel while preparing food in my kitchen. ✨ Most of these recipes are also very suitable for storing in the freezer. Let’s inspire each other. 🤍 I’m so happy you’re here and sharing these moments with me. 🥰 ⏱ SECTIONS AND RECIPES 📌 ● 00:50 Chocolate Crinkle Cookies 🍪 ♡ Ingredients: 4 tablespoons cocoa powder (heaping) 1 cup sugar (or ½ cup if you prefer less sweet) ½ tea glass vegetable oil 2 eggs 6 tablespoons flour (heaping) 1 packet vanilla 1 teaspoon baking powder For coating: Powdered sugar ♡ Instructions: In a bowl, mix cocoa powder, sugar, and oil well. Add the eggs one by one and beat with a mixer until fully combined. Add flour, vanilla, and baking powder and mix. The dough will not be very firm — don’t worry. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 2 hours. Take portions with a spoon and quickly roll into balls (work fast so the dough doesn’t soften from your hands). Coat in powdered sugar and place on a baking tray lined with parchment paper. Bake in a preheated oven at 175°C for about 10–12 minutes. They will be very soft when you take them out — let them cool on the tray to prevent breaking. Enjoy 🍀 ● 02:44 No-Bake Cheesecake (Lemon) 🍰 ♡ Ingredients: For the base: 2 packs oat biscuits 100 g melted butter For the cream: 1 liter milk 1 tablespoon semolina 1 cup sugar 1 packet vanilla 1 teaspoon butter For the topping: Juice of 1 lemon Zest of 1 lemon 2 tablespoons starch 5 tablespoons sugar 2 cups water ♡ Instructions: Crush the biscuits and mix with melted butter. Press into a springform pan or suitable dish and refrigerate while preparing the cream. For the cream, cook milk, semolina, and sugar until thickened. Just before removing from heat, add vanilla and butter and mix. Pour the cream over the biscuit base and let it cool to room temperature. For the topping, cook all ingredients in a small saucepan until it becomes clear and thick. Pour the slightly cooled lemon sauce over the cream. Refrigerate for at least 4–5 hours (preferably overnight). Enjoy 🍀 ● 09:54 Kaytaz Böreği 🥟 ♡ Ingredients: For the dough: 500 g flour (4 cups) 350 ml water (1 cup + slightly less than another cup) 5 g dry yeast (1 teaspoon) 12 g sugar (1 tablespoon, level) 12 g salt (1 teaspoon) For the filling: 400 g minced meat 1 medium onion 1 tablespoon tomato paste 1 tablespoon pomegranate molasses Black pepper, salt ♡ Instructions: Combine all dough ingredients and knead until you get a soft, slightly sticky dough. Cover and let it rise until doubled in size. For the filling, finely chop the onion and mix with minced meat, tomato paste, pomegranate molasses, and spices. Take small pieces from the dough and flatten them by hand on a lightly oiled surface. Place a generous amount of filling in the center. Bake in a preheated oven at 190°C until nicely golden on top and bottom. Enjoy 🍀 ● 11:09 Şam Tatlısı 🥮 ♡ Ingredients: 4 cups semolina 1 cup sugar 1 cup warm milk 2 teaspoons baking soda Cinnamon For topping: Peanuts For the syrup: 3 cups sugar 3 cups water Juice of ½ lemon ♡ Instructions: In a bowl, mix semolina, sugar, milk, and baking soda well. Grease the baking tray with diluted molasses, spread half of the mixture, sprinkle cinnamon, then add the remaining mixture on top and smooth it. Brush again with molasses and place peanuts on top. Let it rest for at least 1 hour. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for about 20 minutes until nicely browned. Prepare the syrup by boiling water and sugar; once it boils, add lemon juice and boil for another 15 minutes. Pour the hot syrup over the hot dessert and let it rest for at least 4–5 hours. Enjoy 🍀 ● 21:15 Milk Dessert in Lemon Shell 🍋 Cook 2.5 cups milk, 4–5 tablespoons sugar, and 2 tablespoons starch until thickened. Add lemon zest, vanilla, and 1 teaspoon butter and mix. Fill into hollowed lemon shells and chill for 3 hours.
