1977’s Kitchen Floor Turtle: Can Rockalina Survive Life Outdoors?

Rockalina, the box turtle who was forced to live on someone’s kitchen floor for 50 years has been with us for 9 months now! She’s doing fantastic but fall is here and it’s starting to get cold. What does this mean for little Rockalina? Can she hibernate if we leave her outside, or will we bring her indoors for winter? We’re also about to leave her and the other 400+ animals behind that call Garden State Tortoise home as we prep to leave for an overseas trip. The stress is high! 👉 See Rockalina’s full story by viewing the Rockalina playlist:    • ROCKALINA: The Turtle Kept on a Kitchen Fl...   #turtle #tortoise #gardenstatetortoise ▶️Join our PATREON:   / gardenstatetortoise   ▶️Subscribe to our channel:    / gardenstatetortoise   ▶️Follow us on Instagram:   / garden_state_tortoise   ▶️Follow us on TikTok:   / gardenstatetortoise   ▶️Follow us on Facebook: https://www.facebo ok.com/GardenStateTortoise/ ▶️Visit our website: https://www.gardenstatetortoise.com Who is Garden State Tortoise? 🧐 However you made it here, thank you and welcome to Garden State Tortoise. Garden State Tortoise is home to hundreds of animals from all around the world. We are a family dedicated to adventure, conservation of wildlife, and all things nature. We are a reptile rescue and breeding facility for more than ten years, offering refuge to those who need it, and working everyday to protect the beautiful world of reptiles in any way we can. Here on our YouTube channel you will be able to join us on our animal adventures while learning how to care for, protect, properly identify, feed and even breed many species of turtle, tortoise, snake and lizard.
