Rockalina the eastern box turtle is one of the biggest animal rescue stories of 2025. Her emotional recovery has touched millions across the globe! After being forced to live for 50 years on someone’s kitchen floor, she spent her life eating nothing but cat food. We rescued this sweet little turtle almost 1 year ago and although she was on her last breath, she proved to be one of the most resilient creatures we’ve ever come to know. Now it’s time for Rockalina to cross a major milestone as she gets to meet her own kind for the first time.
