Mike Mentzer's Consolidated Routine Review
For the past two years I have been training using Mike Mentzer's most well-known routine, the Consolidated Workout. It is the height of minimalist training. This is a two-day split done with only one set per exercise. Use maximum intensity until you cannot do one more positive repetition. I always aim for a ten second cadence on both the postive and negetive part of the movement, but I usually end up at around five seconds for both which is fine.
