P&O Iona Northern Europe Cruise Overview

Are you going on the P&O Iona Northern Europe Cruise / Northern European City Escape Cruise, if so then this is the ultimate P&O Iona Northern Europe Cruise for you. We went on the P&O Iona Northern Europe Cruise in February 2004 and the itinerary included Hamburg, overnight in Rotterdam and Bruges. Our Hamburg stop was diverted to Bremen but we weren't disappointed. In this P&O Iona Cruise Ship vlog, we take you on a day by day adventure of our time onboard the beautiful P&O Iona. This was our first time on P&O Iona, and we learnt that it's currently the 11th largest cruise ship in the world. #P&O #P&OIona #iona #cruiseship Day 1 - We boarded the P&O Iona in Southampton and spent the rest of the day exploring the ship, learning which food was included in the package, checking out the entertainment and getting our bearings. In no time at all we felt totally at home on the P&O Iona Cruise Ship. Day 2 - This was a sea day onboard the Iona, again, we explored, went swimming, went to a lecture about an art heist, eat some wonderful food and watched some great shows. We also went to the Limelight Club where we saw Debra Stephenson Day 3 - P&O Iona's first port was meant to be Hamburg, but after an incident a few days earlier, we were diverted to Bremen. We took the coach into Bremen hand explored this beautiful Northern Europe German city. We found beautiful buildings, churches, hidden alleys, great food and of course, a Christmas shop. We had the best time and them went back to Iona to continue the rest of the day with more great food, drink and entertainment. Day 4 - This was another sea day onboard the P&O Iona . The day was spent enjoying all of the facilities the P&O Iona has. This was also Celebration night onboard the P&O Iona, where we had a special meal at the Chef's Table curated by Marco Pierre White. Day 5 - This was the first of two days in Rotterdam. We loved our time in Rotterdam and on this first day we explored the city. We visited the famous Cube Houses, Food Market and walked to Delfshaven. It was an amazing day and we enjoyed the rest of the night onboard Iona. Day 6 - Day 2 in Rotterdam. On this day, we visited the famous Kinderdijk with it's stunning windmills. We then went into the old town to discover what else Rotterdam had to offer. We checked out the famous New York Hotel and the area around the harbour. Back to the ship and we went to see the Nicole Scherzinger experience, Schhh! Even though it was raining, we had an amazing time, did the boat ride, found a Christmas shop and visited the amazing De Garre bar. This is a beautiful city that we will definitely be going back to. Day 8 - This was our home day but we'd had an amazing time on board the P&O Iona on this Northern Europe City Escape Cruise.
