Exploring North Wales - Llangollen Heritage Railway Vlog

Welcome to this Exploring North Wales - Llangollen Heritage Railway Vlog as we take a trip from Llangollen to Corwen on the Llangollen Heritage Railway onboard the 3802 Steam Train, re named for the weekend, the 'Llangollen Lady' in honour of Mother's Day. We are lucky enough to live in North Wales, and like nothing better than exploring North Wales and making North Wales vlogs and showing you some of the best places to see and do in North Wales. We have never been on the Llangollen Steam Heritage Railway before, so we thought it was time to change that, and now that the Heritage Railway has been extended to Corwen, we thought that now was the perfect time to take a trip on this stunning Heritage Railway. In this Exploring North Wales, Llangollen Heritage Railway Vlog, we start our day in the beautiful North Wales town of Llangollen and take the Llangollen Heritage Steam Train all the way to Corwen, where we take a walk around and explore Corwen to see what we can find. Although we've been to Corwen a number of times, we have never really explored Corwen, so despite the bad weather, today was perfect. Unfortunately, the famous statue of Owain Glyndwr that lives in the main square of Corwen has been taken away to be cleaned, but in this Exploring North Wales Llangollen Heritage Railway to Corwen Vlog, we learn about Owain Glyndwr, the last Welsh Prince of Wales. We take a look around Corwen, see the Old Police House, now a popular Air BnB, we look in the Church of St Mael & St Sulien, we have a lovely Sunday lunch in the Owain Glyndwr Hotel, a place we would highly recommend. Unfortunately we didn't get to take a walk up Pen Pigyn or the old Hill Fort, or visit the old bridge, but we'll have to come back to Corwen and do them another time. Unfortunately, due to the Welsh Weather, our time in Corwen was cut a bit short, so we headed back to Llangollen onboard the Llangollen Lady Steam Train again, bought some cheese and beer and headed home.
