Is the ICC the last hope of justice for survivors?
Luis Carlos Díaz told us that for many Venezuelan survivors like himself, the International Criminal Court (ICC) represents a last hope for accountability. We met with Luis and other survivors in December 2025 on the margins of the ICC's Assembly of State Parties. Together, with the Coalition for the International Criminal Court and the International Federation for Human Rights (FIDH), we discussed survivor-centred justice, confronting impunity, and the need to defend the ICC.
