An honest account of my first job in Germany: the mistakes that cost me dearly!!! Don't repeat my mistakes. I worked as a loader in Germany for two years at Teilzeit. I showed up in all weathers, showed up even when I was sick, and did the work of two without extra pay. In my head, it sounded like, "What a great guy I am." In my boss's head, it was, "What a fool." In this video, I honestly analyze my mistakes: not those related to my decision to return to work (that was actually the smart thing to do), but those related to HOW I behaved. Verbal agreements instead of written letters. 62 hours of overtime that I was never allowed to take. Legal vacation, split into three-day weeks. Payment at the end of my contract was at Steuerklasse VI. And most importantly – the year I lost, staying on out of fear that I still can't put into words. This is not a complaint.
