Roy Drusky - Songs of the Cities (1964) complete mono album

Roy Drusky's third full length release, first on Mercury Records in 1964. This album contains a compilation of songs written featuring various cities, including country staples like El Paso, Abilene and Columbus Stockade Blues. Drusky also takes on the big blues song Kansas City (written by Stoller and Leiber), first recorded by Little Willie Littlefield in 1952, and made famous by Wilbert Harrison in 1959.
