Fue UNA FORTUNA conocer este PARAISO OCULTO en la SIERRA | Moyahua Zacatecas

In this adventure, the Exploring Zacatecas team visits the community of Las Palmas and travels into the mountains to reach a breathtaking place known as "Agua Fría" (Cold Water). Accompanied by our good friend Don Raúl González, we experience traversing challenging trails that were once only accessible on horseback, surrounded by pristine nature and rich history. 🌳 We explored a lime and mango orchard with a touching story about an early resident, Don Salvador, who planted the trees with the hope that others would be able to eat them in the future. 💧 Sacred springs: We visited a spring of crystal-clear, warm water that flows from among the rocks, a vital resource that nourishes the region's orchards. 🌉 Bridges and challenges: We crossed a suspension bridge over the Juchipila River and reminisced about the old "zip line" or basket that people used to cross when the river was high. 🌉 🥭 A Taste of Zacatecas: We sampled wild plums (red and yellow), fresh pitayas, and the famous "barranqueño mango" straight from the tree. A special thank you to Don Raúl González, his wife Doña Amalia Torres, and Juventino Guzmán for their incredible hospitality and for allowing us to show you these hidden gems that almost no one knows about.
