63 Passengers Safe After Enugu Air Flight Skids Off Benin Runway
An Enugu Air Embraer E170 aircraft operating Flight 4264 from Lagos to Benin has skidded off the runway during landing at Benin Airport. The aircraft was carrying 63 passengers and five crew members, with all occupants safely evacuated and no fatalities reported. The Nigerian Safety Investigation Bureau (NSIB) has deployed its Go Team to investigate the circumstances surrounding the incident, with heavy rainfall and late touchdown being considered possible contributing factors.
