Enugu Air has confirmed that one of its aircraft overshot the runway after landing at Benin Airport in Edo State. The airline said all passengers and crew members were safely disembarked from the aircraft and that no injuries or casualties were reported. The plane is now secured and the aviation authorities have launched an investigation to establish the circumstances of the incident. The Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) has temporarily closed the Benin Airport runway following the runway excursion, which disrupted scheduled flight operations.
