My Favourite Gai Yang in Bangkok 🇹🇭 (probably) Today I headed to Sukhumvit 101 near Punnawithi BTS Station to try some famous Wichian Buri grilled chicken hidden away in a car park beside a 7-Eleven… my kind of place! The chicken here is incredible, honestly some of the best grilled chicken I’ve had anywhere in Thailand. A big shout out to Jake at Goodburgs for the recommendation. If you’re looking for one of the best burgers in Bangkok (almost as good as this chicken), definitely check them out. After that, we headed deeper into the city near Thong Lo BTS Station to try some incredible pork noodles at Saew Noodle. They serve the same style of noodles as the famous Rung Rueang Pork Noodle nearby, but honestly… I think these might be even better. Prices: 150 baht for a whole chicken 75 baht for a half chicken This place specialises in Wichian Buri-style grilled chicken from Phetchabun province, famous for its garlic, pepper, coriander root marinade and beautifully smoky skin cooked over charcoal.
