Reflections on SA's 0.6% economic growth
The South African economy grew by 0.6% in the fourth quarter of 2024, recovering from a contraction in the previous quarter. The expansion fell short of the 0.9% forecast, but was enough to prevent the country from entering a recession. Chair of the Oxfam board Phelisa Nkomo has more.
