This Nigerian Pastor Is A Mess Exploiting His People!
Nigerian Pastor Korede Komaiya has built a massive following, but the question many believers should be asking is simple: is this ministry pointing people to Christ, or is it pressuring people into giving through fear, hype, and promises of breakthrough? In this video, we take a closer look at the troubling patterns in Korede Komaiya’s preaching and fundraising style. When a pastor repeatedly connects financial giving to miracles, divine favor, open doors, protection, promotion, and supernatural breakthroughs, we have to ask whether this is biblical shepherding or spiritual manipulation. The Bible does teach generosity. The Bible does teach honoring God with our resources. But Scripture does not teach that people should be pressured into giving money as a transaction for miracles. It does not teach that financial seeds force God’s hand. It does not teach that the desperate, the poor, the sick, or the struggling should be made to feel like their breakthrough is locked behind a payment. That is where the concern comes in. Many people in church are already hurting. They are dealing with bills, family issues, sickness, unemployment, debt, and real-life pressure. The last thing they need is a preacher making them feel like if they do not give a certain amount, they are missing their miracle or blocking their destiny. That kind of preaching can take advantage of sincere people who genuinely love God and want to obey Him. This video is not about attacking anyone personally. It is about testing the message. The Bible commands us to test all things, hold fast to what is good, and beware of teachers who use godliness as a means of financial gain. When money becomes the center of the message, when giving becomes the pathway to every blessing, and when the cross of Christ gets pushed to the background, something is seriously wrong. Jesus did not die so pastors could build ministries on pressure tactics. The apostles did not preach “sow this amount and your miracle will appear.” Paul did not manipulate poor believers into giving beyond their means with promises of instant wealth. The gospel is not a spiritual lottery system. In this breakdown, we examine why this kind of ministry model is dangerous, especially when it targets people who may already be financially vulnerable. We will compare the message being preached with Scripture and ask an honest question: is this biblical Christianity, or is this prosperity-driven exploitation dressed up in church language?
