The Simpsons Springfield, OR HDZERO 65MM Yardsploring!

Our next stop on the long road to Newport, Rhode Island was Springfield, Oregon. We only planned a quick stop, but this little town surprised us. Our Airbnb backed right up to a park where we got to enjoy a live concert and an incredible Fourth of July fireworks show without ever leaving the backyard. We spent some time walking through downtown, taking in the river, local shops, and the relaxed atmosphere. It's obvious the people here take pride in their community, and it made for a great break in the middle of our cross-country move. Plus the simpsons art around town was a nice little extra!
