Many survivors ask themselves: “Why do I keep going back?” “Why can’t I let go?” “Why does this person still have power over me even after I know what they are doing?” The answer often lies in the trauma bond, the psychological conditioning, the intermittent reinforcement and the emotional attachment created through narcissistic abuse.
