How to add crochet sleeves to your favorite sweatshirt ~ Granny Stitch Version!

In this tutorial, I show you how to add crochet sleeves to a sweatshirt using the granny stitch (aka the granny cluster). The finished look is anything BUT granny! Using a self-striping yarn like Caron Cinnamon Swirl Cakes will give you the trendy look without a million ends to weave in (WOOT!!!) and makes it a fairly fast project to whip out in an evening or two. Before you begin stitching, you will need to prepare your sweatshirt according to the very detailed instructions I gave in my last video. Find the full tutorial for how to prepare your sweatshirt here:    • Add Crochet Sleeves to Your Favorite Sweat...   For the granny stitch crochet sleeves, you will need: -3.75 mm, 5.0 mm, 5.5 mm hooks -500-600 yards of any size 4 worsted weight acrylic yarn (can also use sport weight size 3). I am using a self-striping yarn so I don't have to weave in so many tails -Sweatshirt of choice -Stitch marker -Scissors, yarn needle -Supplies necessary to prepare the sweatshirt (as listed in the previous video's description box. See link above) Gauge Using the 5.5 mm hook and regular size 4 worsted weight yarn, 15 dc and 7 rows = 4 inches Exact gauge is not crucial. Just try to get as close as you can so you can follow my stitch and row counts if you don't want to have to guess on sleeve length. Follow me on social media!
