Hi guys! Today, Maria, Evelyn and Lesley are off to Porvorim where Evelyn is going to visit the Mall de Goa and Lesley am going to be doing shopping in Delfino’s. And after that we have decided to go to quite a well known place in Alto Betim, which is Tanvi. Many of the Porvorikars would already know of Tanvi. Evelyn has been going there for quite some years and she says the food is very good sp we are looking forward to a great fish lunch after a fun morning of shopping. Costs we paid: special chonak thali Rs 350, fish curry rice plate Rs 200, teesrio sukka Rs 250, mutton sukka Rs 300, chapati Rs 15 Tanvi is a small but very popular place. Today we’re having regular fish thali, which had tamso (Rs 200), special chonak thali (Rs 350), mutton sukka (Rs 300), chapati (Rs 15) and our favourite teesrio sukka (Rs 250) to start. The special chonak rice plate also has rawa fry prawns! No wonder this place is packed The difference between normal fish thali and special fish thali is that in special you get teesrio also The special fish thali had prawn curry, white pumpkin bhaji, crab masala, shark ambot-tik, teesrio sukka, sol kari, salad, rawa fried prawns, chonak and rice We really enjoyed all the food. The fish fry with fish curry rice here is absolute heaven. The teesrios were fabulous, the mutton curry fabulous and the fish was fabulous. We really enjoyed it.
