Reginald Dixon Rare BBC Broadcast from Tower Wurlitzer
Reginald Dixon, a Rare BBC Broadcast from the Tower Ballroom Blackpool Wurlitzer organ on the 20th May 1953. This 65 year old recording was made from the radio so does suffer from a few cracks and pops and age related noises along the way. But this is Reginald Dixon at his best on the world famous Tower Wurlitzer organ, in the hey-day of Blackpool as a holiday resort, and as this is summer time there is a live audience in the Tower Ballroom. The BBC Light programme announcer we hear is Michael Brooke.
