The vulnerability at your core will stay there for ever more, for it’s an elemental part of you.
The vulnerability at the core of you was formed when you were a child and, like with a tree, this is the deepest, inner layer of you. It is always vulnerable, because you are vulnerable and sensitive and easily hurt as a child. This is a good thing. The inner core is where your inspiration and creativity are born and where the sap of life flows through you. You will never make yourself strong and hard to the core, but the rings you create around that core will provide all the strength you need to remain in touch with your inner sensitivity. You will often revisit some of the difficulties you had as a child, for there is much to learn from this experience. You will continuously re-encounter your sensitivity and often experience it as self doubt, but as you revisit these layers each time from a position of greater strength and understanding you will gradually safeguard that sensitivity at the core of you, accept it, welcome it and value it more and more as the years go by.
