圑圓和風叉燒豬肉丼做法/ chashu pork don | MASA料理ABC

This time introduce a "Reunion" ingredients pork belly as I had seen it often in market ! Using a whole piece of pork belly to make a simple & yet tasty rice bowl ! Special made Japanese style of barbecue sauce & it's enhance appetite. It's also suitable to serve as a Reunion dinner ! ! Well, let's give a try ~ ! (๑˃̵ᴗ˂̵)و Reunion of Japanese Chashu Pork Rice Bowl / Tonbara BBQ Donburi Season 1 - Episode 8 [ 2~3 Servings ] [ Ingredients ] Pork belly - 500gm can substitute with any kind of pork part Onion - 1/4 piece Beefsteak plant ( Aojiso ) - 3 slices White sesame - 1 teaspoon Shredded chili - some can substitute with Shichimi powder Cooked rice - 2~3 bowls [ Japanese Barbecue Sauce ] Water - 100cc Sake - 3 tablespoons Sugar - 1 tablespoon Soy sauce - 3 tablespoons Tomato sauce - 1 tablespoon Tonkotsu sauce - 1 tablespoon Honey - 1/2 tablespoon [ Preparation ] 1. Remove the pork skin. 2. Frying pan over medium-high heat, place in pork belly & pan fry until golden brown for the whole piece. 3. Immerse in boiling water for clean off any excess oil coming out from the pork belly or rinse in hot water & clean off with a kitchen paper. 4. Combine all the [ Japanese Barbecue Sauce ] ingredients & mix well. 5. Heat [ Japanese Barbecue Sauce ] in a frying pan over medium-high heat & bring it to a boil. 6. Place pork belly, cover with lid & reduce to low heat, simmer for 5 minutes. 7. Turn to high heat after 5 minutes, cook the sauce until consistency, add honey & heating for awhile, turn off the heat. 8. Take out the meat after turn off the heat, set aside. 9. After sliced the onion, soak in water for 5~10 minutes. Take it out & place over kitchen paper or gauze & drain off excess moisture. 10. Shred the beefsteak plant, sitr well together with onion, white sesame, shredded chili ( or Shichimi powder ). 11. Slice the pork belly thinly. Drizzle the consistency of Japanese barbecue sauce over cooked rice, place the sliced pork belly & the salad on top of the rice. [ Tips ! ] does not have to be fully cooked. Pan fry until the fat side is melt & golden brown. it gives a extra flavor with the tomato & Tonkotsu sauce, it's OK if is without. Can substitute with small amount of oyster sauce or Miso ! because have to preserve the honey flavor, it's best not to add honey too early if is cut it straight away after cooked, the meat juice will leak.
